Pastor
Father James Thaikoottathil, J.C.D.

Father James Thaikoottathil, J.C.D., is a priest of the Diocese of Norwich with advanced degrees in Philosophy, Theology, History, Pastoral Liturgy, and a Doctorate in Canon Law (summa cum laude). Ordained in 1984, he has served in pastoral ministry for over four decades. In 2007, he was assigned as Pastor of St. Sebastian Church in Middletown and, in 2017, was also given pastoral responsibility for St. John Church following the yoking of the two parishes by Bishop Emeritus Michael R. Cote. Father James is known for his dedication to liturgy, canon law, and the spiritual care of his parishioners.

Father Juan A. Aguirre Palacio

Father Juan Aguirre Palacio is a priest of the Diocese of Norwich and holds an advanced degree in Theology. He was ordained in 2016 and has since served in several pastoral assignments throughout the diocese, gaining broad experience in parish ministry and pastoral care. In the summer of 2024, he was appointed Parochial Vicar of St. John and St. Sebastian Parishes by Bishop Emeritus Michael R. Cote. Originally from Colombia, Father Juan brings a rich cultural heritage and a deep commitment to serving the People of God.
